Bitruvius Spatial Engine
Version 0.1.0. One download runs a geospatial server and the command-line tools that prepare data for it. It is an application, not a drop-in library. You unpack a tarball for your platform and run the programs inside it.
The server speaks the usual GIS protocols — XYZ tiles, WMTS, WMS, OGC API, and the Esri and Cesium endpoints a map client already knows. The tools inspect a dataset, reproject it, and transcode rasters.
Two licenses. A Spatial Engine license runs the program. A codec license — Imagery, Compression, 3D, or All Products — is what lets it encode. All Products is the codec bundle. It does not include the Spatial Engine.
Platforms
| Platform | What you download |
|---|---|
| macOS Apple Silicon | one tarball |
| macOS Intel | one tarball |
| Linux x86_64 (glibc) | one tarball |
| Linux ARM64 (glibc) | one tarball |
| Windows x64 | one tarball |
Linux builds need a current glibc, the same baseline as the codec releases. They are not builds for old distributions.
